Sr. Professor (Dr.) Walmik Kachru Sarwade

Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management & President, Indian Commerce Association

Dr. Walmik Kachru Sarwade is currently working as a Senior Professor and Dean at the Department of Commerce & Management Science, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU), Aurangabad. In addition to this prestigious role, he holds the high academic position of President of the Indian Commerce Association.

He holds a dual Master's Degree in Commerce (M.Com) and Business Administration (MBA), along with a Doctorate in Management Science. He was awarded the UGC Research Fellowship for his doctoral research and was selected for the Santiago de Compostela University, Spain under the PEIN programme for his post-doctoral study.

With a global perspective on research, Sr. Professor Sarwade has visited 28 countries. He has spent time at several of the world's most renowned universities to enhance his academic and research excellence, including Harvard University (Boston), Columbia University (New York), Stanford University (California), Oxford University (London), Goethe University (Germany), Warsaw University (Poland), Minho University (Portugal), Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (Thailand), Sri Jayewardenepura University (Sri Lanka), and Barcelona University (Spain).

Throughout his distinguished 29-year career in higher education, he has taught International Marketing, Strategic Management, Human Resource Management, and E-Commerce. He has authored twelve books and published approximately 110 research papers in reputable national and international journals.
